Bhubaneswar: Odisha, which consistently been witnessing a declining trend in daily COVID-19 caseload, reported less than 1700 fresh infections for the second consecutive day on Sunday.
The last 24 hours saw 1633 more people testing positive for the virus while 1695 cases were reported the previous day.
According to the I & PR department, the new cases have been reported from all 30 districts. While 955 are quarantine, the remaining 678 are local contact cases.
Khurda district reported the highest 158 fresh cases followed by Cuttack 132 and Sundargarh 106.
