Odisha Reports Marginal Rise In COVID Cases, Test Positivity Rate

Bhubaneswar: The test positivity rate (TPR) in Odisha hovered at 2.02 per cent on Thursday as 1342 more people tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.

The state had reported a TPR of 2.01 per cent the previous day after it dropped to 1.9 per cent on Tuesday and 1.53 a day earlier. The daily caseload at 1032 on Tuesday was the lowest in three months. It had reported 1315 fresh infections on Wednesday.

Among the new cases, Khurda district reported the highest of 477 followed by Cuttack (164) and Jagatsinghpur (78).
