Bhubaneswar: Odisha saw one death due to COVID-19 and 88 new infections in the last 24 hours.
A 74-year-old male patient of Sambalpur district died due to cardiogenic shock, the Health and Family Welfare Department tweeted on Monday. A total of 1922 people have lost their lives to the infection.
The state also saw a slight rise in new infections. It had reported 73 cases on Sunday and less than 60 the previous two days.
Among the new cases, 51 have been reported from quarantine while 37 are local contacts.
