Bhubaneswar: The daily COVID caseload in Odisha remained below 100 for the fourth consecutive day on Tuesday as 78 more people tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
The state had seen 68, 86 and 83 cases on Monday, Sunday and Saturday, respectively.
According to the I & PR department, 47 of the new infections are from quarantine and 31 local contacts. Eleven districts have registered nil cases while the remaining 19, except Kendrapada (12) and Khurda (10), have reported cases in a single digit.

With these cases being detected from 45276 samples, the test positivity rate stood at 0.17 per cent.
Odisha now has 822 active cases.
