Nayagarh: A Revenue Inspector (RI) was reportedly caught red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000 from a person in Nayagarh district on Wednesday.
Vigilance sleuths had laid the trap for Namita Pradhan, who is serving as RI at Adakata Revenue Circle, on a complaint lodged by Gokula Sahu of Dhuamada village. He alleged that Sahu had demanded Rs 10,000 from him for providing n enquiry report of his land.
The anti-corruption agency also seized the money which was paid to the RI.
