Puri: On the occasion of New Year, Odisha-based sand artist Manas Kumar Sahoo has crafted a sculpture here to wish people a healthy and safe year ahead.
The sand art, which has been created near the light house at Golden Beach in Puri, comes with a prayer to Lord Jagannath that says, “Wipe out pain and make us all happy again”.

According to Sahoo, it took him around seven hours and about five tonnes of sand to create the sculpture.
