Patna: Sarpanch of Jamunapashi panchayat under Patna block in Keonjhar district has declared 72-hour shutdown in the panchayat after a migrant lodged at Biseipat High School quarantine centre tested positive for COVID-19.
Sarpanch Mamatamayee Nayak announced that the shutdown rules will be strictly imposed in six villages -Yamunapashi, Barudipashi, Godipokhari, Padmapur, Padmakesharpur and Kodakhman – of the panchayat.
“No shops or markets will be opened during the period,” she added.
