Bhubaneswar: Amid the COVID-19 resurgence scare, Odisha reported over 100 new cases for the second consecutive day on Saturday with 120 more people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
After 38 days, 110 people were found infected on Friday.
The I&PR Department informed that these new cases have been detected in 22 districts. While 71 are from quarantine centres, 49 are local contact cases.
Cuttack district recorded the highest of 26 fresh cases followed by Sundargarh (16), Mayurbhanj (15), and Khurda (14).

With this, the COVID-19 tally in Odisha has touched 338719. While 335994 have recovered from the disease, the number of active cases is 754.
