Bhubaneswar: Ace shooter Shriyanka Sadangi from Odisha bagged a gold medal in the senior women (individual) category of 10 metre air rifle event at the ongoing Kumar Surendra Singh Memorial Shooting Championship in New Delhi on Sunday.
National Rifle Association of India vice-president and former Balangir MP Kalikesh Singhdeo was present at the award ceremony.
Earlier in May, Shriyanka had brought laurel to the state and country by winning medals at the International Shooting Competition of Hannover in Germany. She clinched silver medal in the 10m Air Rifle women individual event and gold in the 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team event, partnering with Gagan Narang.
