Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has invited tenders for the auction and grant of mining lease of 10 minerals blocks.
The 10 blocks to be auctioned include seven blocks of iron ore and three blocks of iron ore and manganese. These are Nuagaon iron ore block, Thakurani iron ore block, Siljora-Kalimati iron ore and manganese block, Jilling-Langalota iron ore block, Jaribahal iron ore block, Roida II iron ore block, Jururi iron ore block, Narayanposhi iron ore and manganese block, Mahulsukha iron ore and manganese block and Ganua iron ore block.
However, the state government has reserved the Thakurani iron ore block, Jaribahal iron ore block, Roida II iron ore block, Ganua iron ore block and Narayanposhi iron ore and manganese block for specified end-use.
While the financial bids are invited in the digital format only, technical bids are invited both in digital and physical formats from eligible bidders.
The detailed tender documents along with timelines, notifications, updates and other details for the e-auction process for the mineral blocks are available in electronic form and can be downloaded from the website of MSTC Ltd https://www.mstcecommerce.com/auctionhome/mlcl/index.jsp
.Interested and eligible bidders can register themselves on the above website. On successful registration, the bidders will obtain a login ID and password necessary for participation in the e-auction process. The model tender document and mineral block summary are available free of cost on the MSTC Ltd website.
The last date for the purchase of tender document from the website is November 15. The deadline for submission of bid is 12 noon on November 18.
