Bhubaneswar: Odisha shuttler Tanvi Patra added to her laurels in her budding career by claiming bronze medal at the Mangalore India International Challenge 2025.
The 14-year-old Tanvi stunned top seed and world No. 55 Ishika Jaiswal (USA) 21-19, 21-18 a day earlier to book a semifinal berth.
On Saturday, Tanvi gave another higher-ranked rival Mansi Singh a tough fight before going down 20-22, 9-21.
Last November, Tanvi won a singles bronze in the Junior Nationals and spearheaded Odisha’s gold-winning campaign in the Inter-State championship in Bhubaneswar.
In August 2025, Tanvi finished third in the Kotak India Junior International Series 2025 at Hyderabad.
