Bhubaneswar: Odisha shuttlers scripted history at the East Zone Inter-State Badminton Championship at Lavins Academy in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh.
Ayush Pattanayak and Abinash Mohanty became the first pair to bag the senior men’s doubles title.
In the junior mixed doubles event, Abhijit Moharana and Harshitaa Rout finished runners-up.
Around 250 players from Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and UP took part in the four-day meet which ended on Sunday.
