Bhubaneswar: Odisha-born Bollywood singer Lisa Mishra’s song ‘Sajna Ve’ recently featured in Lady Gaga’s charitable show ‘One World: Together At Home’ to raise funds for relief efforts against the coronavirus pandemic.
Marking Odisha’s contribution to the noble cause, Lisa’s song appears around 1 hour 35 minutes in the virtual concert. The ‘Taarefan’ singer shot this song at her grandparent’s house in Bhubaneswar where she is residing at present during the nationwide lockdown.
The show also featured celebrities like Elton John, Paul McCartney, Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish. Bollywood actors Shahrukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra also made special appearances.
Held in support of the World Health Organization’s (WHO) efforts to fight COVID-19, the eight-hour show was broadcasted on UK TV channels as well as streamed online. It reportedly raised $127 millions as relief funds.
