Bhubaneswar: Odisha continued to reel under intense heat wave on Sunday with Talcher recording the highest temperature at 46.3 degree Celsius.
The mercury soared to above 40 degree Celsius at 13 other places – Titlagarh (44.5), Jharsuguda (43.2), Angul (43.1), Sambalpur (43), Balangir (43), Bhawanipatna (42.5), Hirakud (41.9), Phulbani (41.8), Sonepur (41.6), Malkangiri (41.5), Sundargarh (41), Keonjhar (40.6) and Chandbali (40.5).
The Regional Meteorological Centre here has predicted that intense heatwave condition would prevail in Nabarangpur, Balangir, Boudh, Sonepur and Bargarh for the next two days.
