Bhubaneswar: AstroNext Technologies Private Limited, an Odisha-based startup, has launched India’s first WhatsApp based personalised chat services in eight regional languages, merging ancient wisdom with cutting-edge technology.

This innovation marks a significant step in democratising astrology and making it more accessible, personalised, real-time, and interactive for users across India and the globe.

AstroNext, is a Next-gen AI startup focused on bringing the stars to your smartphone, literally. It is a DPIIT-recognised AI startup based in Odisha, and is committed to reshaping astrology through advanced technology and deep cultural insight, by building a holistic spiritual ecosystem that spans chat-based astrology, online rituals, and sacred travel. It is ‘truly conversational’—offering real-time horoscopes, compatibility insights, and predictive guidance, all through WhatsApp, India’s most-used messaging platform.

Founded by Odia entrepreneurs, Shuvam Garabadu and Susanta Behera, AstroNext aims to reimagine astrology for the modern age. The duo brings together diverse experiences from leading healthcare startups, global corporates, and Odisha’s rich cultural legacy.

“Astrology, Bollywood, and Cricket—these aren’t just pastimes in India; they shape cultural conversations and daily decisions,” says Shuvam Garabadu, founder and 5th generation heir of the historic and iconic Radharaman Pustakalaya, which has been publishing Odisha’s most trusted and renowned Panjika since 1898.

“Our family’s 100+ years legacy of publishing the Panjika is the only certified one used for day-to-day rituals at Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri, and we’re proud to build on that knowledge, trust and heritage with AstroNext through personalised Kundli reports,” he added.

The newly-launched chat services is WhatsApp-first, bringing personalised horoscopes, compatibility analysis, daily predictions, and ritual timings directly into users’ chats—in Odia, Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and English. With over 500 million WhatsApp users in India, this integration makes astrological services just a message away, 24×7×365.

“We saw a massive gap in how astrology is consumed—still heavily manual and dependent on paper charts,” says Susanta Behera, the co-founder who brings international expertise from his decade old experience in working in the USA.

“Our AI/ML-powered compute engine, coupled with LLMs, is designed to generate accurate, private, and real-time insights for every user and we continue to evolve, offering deeper, data-driven predictions with high levels of personalization,” he added.

What truly sets AstroNext apart is its long-term vision of building a connected spiritual ecosystem.

In its next phase of development, the startup plans to integrate online pooja bookings, virtual darshan services, curated tirth yatra packages, and exclusive offerings for Jagannath Mandir devotees, all within the same platform. This unified approach aims to empower users not only to receive astrological guidance, but to act on it—by booking spiritual services, participating in rituals, and planning pilgrimages, all through a tech-enabled, trust-driven interface. “The goal is to build a platform where individuals can navigate life’s decisions through a harmonious blend of ancient insight and everyday convenience,” says Shuvam.

Despite the growing popularity of astrology around the world, the domain remains largely traditional and under-digitised. AstroNext sees this as a massive opportunity to revolutionise the space—offering a platform that is not only intuitive and interactive, but deeply respectful of India’s astrological heritage. As the lines between technology and tradition blur, AstroNext stands at the forefront of this transformation, aiming to become the go-to spiritual companion for millions across the globe.

The chat services have already been used by over 1000+ early users with generation of free Kundli Reports.

AstroNext’s platform doesn’t just offer astrological readings—it’s building a global community where tradition meets technology. As astrology continues to grow in popularity worldwide, the team is committed to keeping Indian astrological heritage at the forefront while expanding to a global audience.
