Bhubaneswar: Odisha Start Up Summit 2018 kicked off on Thursday at
Institute of Technical Education and Research (ITER) Campus, SOA
University, Bhubaneswar.
Inaugurating the three-day event, Principal Secretary, Industry
Department Sanjeev Chopra said, “I am very happy the way Odisha Start
Up Summit is being organized. Now it’s time for the youth to do
business ventures of their own rather searching for jobs. They should
come out to create new job opportunities. Creativity is in Air.
Bhubaneswar has been changed a lot. Earlier it’s Bangalore and other
metros which were on our target. But now it’s time to do it here
itself. And for any startups entrepreneur persistence is the most
important thing.”
“Government of Odisha has taken the initiative of developing a single
window system for all industries including the startups with the
portal Go Swift, the state government’s single window for investor
facilitation & tracking to promote a conducive Business Environment
through transparency and time bound clearance. All entrepreneurs
should go through the site and lookout for their requirements.
Suggestions to make the improvement of the initiatives are most
welcome”, Chopra added.

Mishra said, “It is a great platform for the budding entrepreneurs. Earlier, it was
very difficult to start up the business and run it as there was lack
of information and support. But the central as well as the state
governments are providing many facilities through many schemes and
initiatives for the budding entrepreneurs. So, they should take the
advantage of the same.’
