Bhubaneswar: The Directorate of Secondary Education (DSE), Odisha has extended the last date for registration and online application form submission for the engagement of 11,403 initial appointee teachers in government-run high schools in the State.
According to the latest DSE notice, the last date for the registration and online submission of the application has got a seven-day extension. The online application process kicked off on January 3 and is scheduled to close on Monday, January 31, will now end on February 7.
The decision comes following the recruiting body’s move to enhance the upper age limit to 38 years from the 32 years for the candidates.
“In view of corrigendum No 2356/Dt. 25.01.2022 published by Director Secondary Education Odisha enhancing the Upper Age limit prescribed in the original advertisement dated December 23, 2021, the last date for receipt of online application (online registration) from candidates is extended to February 7, 2022, 6 pm,” stated the notice from DSE.
A total of 3308 posts of TGT Arts, 2370 posts of TGT Science (PCM), 1544 posts of TGT Science (CBZ), 1753 posts of Hindi Teacher, 1188 posts of Sanskrit Teacher, 22 posts of Telugu Teacher and 1218 posts of Physical Education Teacher will be filled up via the recruitment drive.
