Bhubaneswar: As the schools and colleges across Odisha have been closed due to COVID-19 pandemic, the state government has decided to train the teachers to ensure hassle-free online teaching.
Speaking to the media here on Sunday, School and Mass Education minister Samir Ranjan Dash said a five-day online teaching training programme will begin in Bhubaneswar from August 4.
Two teachers of each of the 101 schools which have been developed as the centre of excellence and the teachers of 30 Plus II colleges will undergo a two-hour training during the programme.
The training programme will enable the teachers to be aware of the technology involved in the online teaching method, the minister said.
