Bhubaneswar: With an increase in the number of COVID-19 cases in the state, the Odisha Government has decided to conduct 6,000 RT-PCR tests every day.
Government further stated that around 1 lakh rapid antigen kits are being procured to conduct 2000 tests every day. “Arrangements are being made in SCB Medical College and Hospital for the hub of plasma therapy for critical COVID-19 cases,” Institute of Life Sciences (ILS) Director Ajay Parida said.
According to the I&PR Department’s tweet on Friday, the total number of COVID-19 cases in Odisha touched 11956. With 52 deaths and 7404 recoveries, Odisha now has 4476 active cases.
