Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government will conduct a high-level meeting on Wednesday to discuss issues, concerning the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA), and other key urban development matters impacting housing and infrastructure planning across the state.
Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja will chair the meeting scheduled at 3.30 pm at Lok Seva Bhawan.
According to official letter issued by Housing and Urban Development department, the meeting will review RERA-related matters, including registration under the Apartment Regularisation Scheme, status of forest lands falling within housing colonies, conversion of leasehold land to freehold in cases where building plans have been duly approved, and issues concerning access to private lands and grant of permission for using government land for approach road.
Senior officials from key departments and authorities – ORERA Chairman, Additional Chief Secretary, Forest & Environment, BDA Vice-Chairman, BMC Commissioners, OSHB Managing Director, Director, Town Planning, WATCO Managing Director and Engineer-in-Chief, PHEO – have been directed to attend the meeting
All attendees have been requested to come prepared with relevant records, data, and briefing notes for a focused and effective discussion.
