Bhubaneswar: Odisha will experience warm weather for the next three days. The minimum temperature is expected to go up by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius at many places across the state, India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Saturday.
“The dry and cold northerly and north-westerly winds blowing towards the State have weakened and the easterly winds carrying moisture are strengthening for which the temperature has started rising,” Bhubaneswar Meteorological Scientist Umasankar Das said.
Sundargarh recorded the highest maximum temperature of 34 degrees on Friday followed by 33.4 in Bhubaneswar, 33.1 in Angul and 33 degrees in Balangir, Titlagarh and Malkangiri.
According to the Met office, few places in the state will see shallow to moderate fog till Sunday due to clear sky condition, moisture availability and calm winds. Shallow to moderate fog is also likely to cover isolated places in north coastal districts on Saturday.
