Paralakhemundi: He is barely three years and 10 months old. Yet, Arush Mishra can recite several Sanskrit ‘shlokas’ (verses) and rhymes in Hindi, Odia and English at this tender age.
Arush, the son of veterinary doctor Abhijit Mishra and homemaker Monali, lives at Jangama Sahi of Paralakhemundi town in Gajapati district. This wonder toddler can also name the Presidents of more than 30 countries, give answers on coronavirus as well as identify different body parts of human beings.
It was this feat that earned Arush a place in ‘India Book of Records’.
Arush’s father expressed pride over his son’s achievement, but gave all the credit to his wife. “When Arush was only two years old, Monali observed that he has exceptional memory power. She then started teaching him Sanskrit shlokas and also topics on general knowledge every day,” Abhijit said.
On her part, Monali said she hopes that her son will either be a doctor, pilot or scientist when he grows up.
