Bhubaneswar: Odisha Tourism has bagged the ‘Holiday IQ Best Heritage Destination Award for Konark’ at a ceremony in New Delhi on Thursday.
The prestigious award was conferred by ‘Holiday IQ’, India’s largest travel community and travel content website portal.
Director, Odisha Tourism Nitin Bhanudas Jawale has received the
award from Union minister of state for prime minister’s office and
ministry of development of north eastern region Jitendra Singh.
After receiving the award, the director highlighted about the heritage tourism destination of the state and spoke about the new initiatives taken by the department to promote and place Odisha Tourism both in domestic and international sectors.
