Bhubaneswar: Zoom Studios, a leading digital content destination, has partnered with Odisha Tourism for the new season of its popular show Reunion.
Set to launch in April 2021, the upcoming season of Reunion is a 10 part series shot in various places in Odisha including Similipal, Bhitarkanika, Konark, Puri, Chilika, Dhenkanal, Badmul, Daringbadi, Koraput and Debrigarh.
The series promises viewers a unique and engaging story through the picturesque landscapes of Odisha comprising majestic mountains, serene beaches, ancient temples, rich heritage and spectacular wildlife among other attractions.
“Odisha is India’s best-kept secret destination that offers pristine locations and a rich cultural heritage that we must take pride in. With a compelling story set against the gorgeous landscapes of Odisha, I am confident that the show will indulge our viewers to a visual treat,” said the COO and Executive President of Times Network, Jagdish Mulchandani.
Hailing the collaboration with the OTT platform, Odisha Tourism Minister Jyoti Prakash Panigrahi said it will help highlight the state’s tourist destinations and experiences.
“Be it ecotourism, camping, beaches, cuisine, road trips, adventure or art and craft, these segments can be effectively promoted through storytelling. Emerging from a year of deferred travel plans, this partnership has come at a very opportune time,” he added.
The previous season of Reunion had created a record run of over 50 million views on YouTube and Facebook. Tracing the journey of a group of friends who reunited after 10 years, it had received rave reviews for its refreshing storytelling and content,
