Bhubaneswar: A special vigilance court has ordered the confiscation of assets worth over Rs 26 lakh belonging to Odisha administrative service (OAS) officer Sanatan Sethi, convicted in a corruption case.
His assets, including a three-storey building at mouza Sinduria in Nayagarh and movable assets (bank and postal deposits).

A retired block development officer of Khandapada in Nayagarh district, he was sentenced to two-year rigorous imprisonment and asked to pay a fine Rs 1,00,000 in December 2018 for possessing assets to the tune of Rs 26,56,971 beyond his known sources of income. The vigilance had also moved the court, seeking confiscation of his assets.
