Cuttack: An early morning fire reduced three cottages to ashes at Satkosia Eco-Retreat, the glamour camping site on the banks of the Mahanadi at Baliput, Narsingpur, in Odisha’s Cuttack on Sunday.
On being informed, fire services personnel and police rushed to the spot and doused the blaze.
The tourists had a close shave in the mishap, which is suspected to have been triggered by an electric short circuit.

Badamba BJD MLA Debi Mishra visited the spot and took stock of the situation.
