Duari said he had brought his sister, Banita, to the ENT Department after she complained of a swelling on her lower lip, The doctor there administered an injection on her lower lip. Following this, Banita complained of severe pain and fainted.
Subsequently, the doctor admitted her to the department’s indoor ward. He assured Duari that she would recover. However, the patient’s condition deteriorated and her lower lip was damaged, her brother complained.
The doctors have now referred her to SCB Medical College and Hospital for plastic surgery.
