Jagatsinghpur: A youth, who was rescued in a critical condition from a primary school at Debagram village, succumbed to his burn injuries while undergoing treatment at Jagatsinghpur district headquarters hospital (DHH) on Sunday.
According to sources, locals found the youth in a half-charred state inside the school premises late on Saturday and informed police. He rushed to a nearby hospital and later shifted to the DHH after his condition worsened.
Though the exact reason behind the burns is yet to be ascertained, police seized a knife and an empty bottle from spot. Further investigation is on.]
