Bhubaneswar: A youth from city slum here has been arrested on charges of blackmailing a college girl with her obscene video.
The arrested, identified as Ashok Das alias Dipu (27), had been residing in a slum under Mancheswar police limits here.
According to police sources, he had allegedly shot the video while she was bathing. Threatening to make the video viral, he then forced her into a physical relationship with him.
On Thursday night, he tried to grope her at a secluded place in the locality, following which she told her family about it. Locals then caught hold of the youth and handed him over to police.
