Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 tally in Odisha went up to 6350 on Saturday with 170 new cases being reported from 14 districts in the last 24 hours.
According to a tweet by the I &PR Department, 143 new cases were detected in quarantine centres and the remaining 27 were local contacts.
Ganjam recorded the highest of 58 cases followed by Nabarangpur (19), Khurda (19), Gajapati (16), Rayagada (16), Cuttack (14), Kendrapada (6), Puri (6), Malkangiri (5), Nayagarh (3), Jajpur (3), Sambalpur (2), Bargarh (1) and Koraput (1).
Besides, one NDRF personnel, who had returned to the state after post-Amphan duty in West Bengal, has also tested positive for the virus.
With 15 deaths and 4,432 recoveries, Odisha now has 1,903 active cases.
