Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s daily COVID-19 cases jumped to nearly 300 on Wednesday with 296 people found infected in the last 24 hours. The state reported 206 cases on Tuesday.
According to the I & PR department, 174 cases are from quarantine and 122 local contacts. Among them, 44 are in the age group of 0-18 years.

With these cases being detected from 17,831 samples, the Test Positivity Rate (TPR) stood at 1.66 %. Odisha now has 2,197 active cases.
