Odisha’s Daily COVID Count Continues See-Saw, Drops Below 50
Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported 43 COVID-19 cases on Saturday, including 13 in the 0-18 age group testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
According to the I & PR Department, 26 fresh cases are from quarantine and 17 local contacts.
Here are the district-wise figures of the new cases:
- Balasore: 3
- Balangir: 1
- Boudh: 2
- Cuttack: 1
- Gajapati: 6
- Ganjam: 2
- Jajpur: 3
- Jharsuguda: 2
- Kandhamal: 1
- Kendrapada: 7
- Khurda: 5
- Koraput: 1
- Mayurbhanj: 1
- Nuapada: 1
- Sambalpur: 2
- Sundargarh: 4
Besides, one case is from the state pool.
With 44,882 samples tested in the last 24 hours, the test positivity rate (TPR) stood at 0.9 per cent
Odisha now has 431 active cases.
