Bhubaneswar: DAV Public School, Pokhariput organised its annual school exhibition ‘Majestic Vikram : The Lander Of Success Ladder – 2019’ commemorating the birth anniversary of the country’s leading space scientist Vikram A. Sarabhai.
The celebration saw more than 300 exhibits from Science, Social Studies and Mathematics, highlighting ways to conserve and preserve water. They were prepared by students of Classes III to XII. The projects were judged by teams of experts from various fields.
The annual event was inaugurated by the Chairman of the School Managing Committee, Madan Mohan Panda, Regional Officer of DAV Institutions, Odisha Zone 1, K C Satapathy, and Principal of Doon International School, Bhubaneswar A K Pati.
‘I am extremely delighted to witness the quality of exhibits today and I am sure the exhibition has broadened the students’ horizon of knowledge as they club enthusiasm and skills with practical applications to create still models, working models and research-based projects that are relevant to today’s demands.’ said Ms Sujata, the Principal of the school.
