Ganjam: Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange on Monday tweeted about the death of four corona warriors in Ganjam district.
The four deceased are Bharati Swain, Anganwadi worker of Kholakhali village of Buguda block, Simanchal Satpathy, Junior Teacher (contractual) of S Pankalbadi Primary School of Kabisuryanagar block, P Suresh Kumar, Junior Engineer of Dharakote block and Sidhhartha Shankar Padhi, teacher of K Raisingi UP School in Aska block.
“We lost our four COVID Warriors. Entire District Administration is with their families. We request all people in Ganjam to follow social distancing norms . By doing this you will help our COVID warriors in fighting this war,” he added.
The last 14 days have seen an alarming number of frontline workers – 263 – getting infected.
Ganjam had reported 20 deaths till Sunday.
