Bhubaneswar: City-based filmmaker Kashish Mohapatra has made Odisha proud by bagging the Best Mobile Short Film award for her film ‘Real or Not’ at the Indo French International Film Festival 2021.
The four-minute film also got nominated for the prestigious Golden Yazhi award.
‘Real or Not’ had emerged winner at the Tagore International Film Festival 2021, Kolkata, too, and got nominated for ‘Sun of the East’ award. It was also nominated for the Best Director award by Golden Arts, London.
‘Real or Not’ is a fantasy short film in which a girl wakes up to find her room completely different from what it was. She then realises that it is similar to that of her imaginations.
Kashish, who herself plays the protagonist, is shown to be confused whether she is dreaming or is awake. Eventually, she realises she was dreaming and is left with a paradox.
