Bhubaneswar: In the first-of-its-kind in Odisha, city-based KIIT International School recently organised the International Career & College Counselling (IC3) Regional Forum 2020.
As many as 100 participants from 49 Schools and 14 universities from seven countries participated in the Regional Forum on January 23.
The IC3 Regional Forums are a series of one-day events in high schools across India, South Asia, Southeast Asia, Middle East and Oceania that are hosted by IC3 Conference Committees.
Inaugurating the IC3, Dr Mona Lisa Bal, chairperson of KIIT International School, emphasised on the importance of such meets to bridge the gap between schools, colleges and universities.
The Regional Forum at KIIT was attended by Ganesh Kohli, founder of the IC3 movement. Kohli encouraged delegates to develop teaching processes and techniques.
Dr Sanjay Suar, principal of KIIT International School, congratulated all the members of the Regional Forum and urged them to explore the realms of innovation in college counselling.
A host of speakers from academics and administration from across the country participated in the Regional Forum. Panel discussions on navigating undergraduate study options in India were also conducted during the forum.
