Odisha’s Konark Sun Temple ‘Disappears’ Behind Dense Fog

Puri: Tourists had to wait for a complete view of the Sun Temple at Konark as dense fog completely covered the structure on Thursday morning.

Also, vehicular traffic came to a halt in the entire Konark area due to poor visibility.

Similarly, devotees in Puri were deprived of the darshan of Lord Patitapabana at the Singhadwara of the Jagannath temple due to dense fog.

In its morning bulletin, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted shallow to moderate fog at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Sonepur, Boudh, Bargarh,  Kandhamal, Cuttack, Rayagada and Koraput in the next 24 hours.
