The mother and baby were later shifted to MKCG Medical College and Hospital, said B Pradhan Beguniapada Block Development Officer (BDO).
The condition of both the mother and child was said to be good.
Doctors from CHC Kodala were regularly examining her health condition ever since she was placed under quarantine. The woman, however, did not tell them the expected date of delivery.
