Odisha’s Madhusudan Law University Cancels Exam Over ‘Out-Of-Syllabus’ Questions

Cuttack: Madhusudan Law University (MLU) in Odisha’s Cuttack on Monday cancelled the scheduled examination of 3rd year LLB course due to some ‘unavoidable circumstances’ after students made complaints regarding question paper.

According to sources, the authorities decided to cancel the exam for Paper-I (Labour Law-II) for 6th Semester slated for Monday.

The Paper-I exam was called off as the students alleged that several questions were out of the syllabus. Expressing concern over the questions, the students informed the authorities and subsequently they decided to cancel the exam.

It was decided to reschedule the exam. The rescheduled date will be notified later, sources said.

“This is for the information of all the concerned that, due to some unavoidable circumstances Paper-I (Labour Law-II) of 6th Semester 3rdyr LLB Examination June-2024 has been cancelled,” the University said in a notice.

“The rescheduled date shall be notified later on,” it added.
