Rourkela: Students of NIT Rourkela have emerged as global champions in the ‘Football Hackathon: Data Driven Players Performance Assessment’.
In a first-of-its-kind competition, the boys from Rourkela beat competition from all over the world to be crowned winners. As many as 4,695 teams tried their luck in the unique competition.
Famous Spanish club Sevilla FC, who announced a five-year collaboration with second division I-League team Bengaluru United last month, joined forces to organize the football hackathon.
