Bhubaneswar: The State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) of the Odisha government has approved 6 industrial projects from diverse sectors worth Rs 854.17 crore.
The projects that were approved at a SLSWCA meeting chaired by Chief Secretary PK Jena on Friday are spread across the sectors like metal downstream, IT & ESDM, infrastructure and food processing. The approved projects, which will be set up in Balangir, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur and Khurda districts, are expected to generate over 2,167 employment opportunities.
Investment intensions from four of these projects were received during Make in Odisha Conclave 2022. The committee has given a go-ahead to 3 projects in the infrastructure sector, 1 in steel, 1 in the IT & ESDM and 1 in the food processing sector.
The SLSWCA approved the following proposals:
- Multi Modal Logistics Park to be set up by Transtek Coal Minerals Private Limited in Khurda district with an investment of Rs 380.25 crore.
- Nirmal Wires Private Limited’s project in Jajpur with an investment of Rs 200 crore
- A Greenfield Tank Storage Facility for liquid and gas products of 50,000 TPA capacity by Aegis Logistics Limited in Bhubaneswar
- Logixpress Warehousing Llp’s warehousing-cum-logistics park including assembling.
In the IT & ESDM sector, the committee gave its nod to a project by Secureyes Techno Services Private Limited with an investment of Rs 75 crore. The company proposes to set up a Global Cyber Security Delivery Centre.
In the food processing sector, the authority approved a proposal of OVO Farm Private Ltd to set up a manufacturing unit for whole egg powder in Food Park at Sadeipali in Balangir district with an investment of Rs 50.5 crore.
