Odisha’s Single Window Clearance Authority Okays 11 Projects Worth Over Rs 2840 Crore
Bhubaneswar: The State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) of Odisha has approved 11 industrial projects worth Rs 2840.73 crore.
According to official sources, the proposals were approved at a meeting of the SLSWCA chaired by chief secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena in Bhubaneswar on Monday. The projects cover various sectors including aluminium and aluminium downstream, steel and steel downstream, chemicals and plastics, food processing and packaging, textiles and apparel, tourism and renewable energy received approvals.
The approved projects will be set up in Balangir, Ganjam, Jagatsinghpur, Khurda, Mayurbhanj, Rayagada, Sambalpur and Sundargarh districts. Following are the projects that were approved at the SLSWCA meeting:
- RCR Steel Works Private Limited’s steel plant in Jamda, Mayurbhanj with an investment of Rs 896.98 crore
- Expansion of Utkal Alumina International Ltd in Rayagada from 2.25 MTPA to 2.75 MTPA with an investment of Rs 564.9 crore
- Expansion of Hindalco Industries Limited at aluminium smelter plant at Lapanga in Sambalpur from 360 KTPA to 400 KTPA with a cost of Rs 419.4 crore
- Mahindra Holidays and Resorts India Ltd’s resort at Somolo Island, Chilika Lake in Ganjam district with an investment of Rs 228.45 crore
- Ion Exchange (India) Ltd’s manufacturing unit of 25000 MT Water Treatment Chemicals & 30,000 MT Monomer and Polymers in Paradeep with an investment of Rs 303 crore
- Indian Stitches Private Limited’s fabric processing plant with an investment of Rs 100 crore in Khurda
- Taj SATs Ltd’s food processing and packaging units in Khurda with a cost of Rs 51 crore
- Indopet Polymer Pvt Ltd’s manufacturing unit for pet preform, pet bottles and plastic containers at a cost of Rs 52 crore in Khurda
- Vibhor Steel Tubes Pvt Ltd’s 120,000 MT ERW black and GI pipes manufacturing unit with a cost of Rs 70 crore in Sundargarh
- ROMCO Aluminates Private Limited’s 12 MW Solar Power Plant at Balangir with a cost of Rs 54 crore
