Bhubaneswar: Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan Deemed to be University (SOA) has launched a centre, which will provide its students an opportunity to learn foreign languages like French, Swahili and Arabic. Foreign students studying at the university will impart training in the three languages.
The ceremonial launch of the ‘SOA Centre for Languages’ was held on Saturday.
SOA Chancellor Prof. (Dr) Amit Banerjee said the centre would also help the students learn other languages like Mandarin, Japanese and Spanish. Apart from this, the centre will give training in Dzongkha (from Bhutan), Bangla, Tamil and Hindi.
