Bhubaneswar: Nepal’s Tribhuvan University has signed an MoU with Bhubaneswar-based SOA Deemed to be University for conducting joint research, student and faculty exchange programmes. The MoU will enable both the two universities to conduct seminars, workshops and conferences, said a statement issued by SOA.
The MoU was signed between Prof Bhupa Prasad Dhamala, Executive Director of Centre for International Relation, Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu, and Prof B B Pradhan, Registrar of SOA in the presence of SOA’s president Prof. Manojranjan Nayak on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Dhamala praised the rapid strides made by SOA Deemed to be University. He said the university has made a mark in the academic space within a short span of time because of its focus on quality education and research.
Among others, Prof Om Prasad Baral, Deputy Director, Monitoring Directorate, Tribhuvan University, Prof Shankar Prasad Adhikari, Associate Administrator, Institute of Medicine, Tribhuvan University, Prof D.P. Yadav, Senior Scientist, Nepal Agricultural Research Council, Prof. Jyoti Ranjan Das, SOA’s Dean (Students’ Welfare) and Dr Nachiketa Sharma, SOA’s Director (International Admissions) were present.
