Bhubaneswar: For the first time, a computer-based test (CBT) for admission into Post-Graduate courses, conducted by the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE), began in the state on Saturday.
A total of 17,355 candidates are appearing for the test for admission into engineering and other professional courses, including M.Tech, M.Arch, MCA, Lateral Entry-MCA, M.Pharm, M.Plan and MBA.
Of these students, 8,000 are appearing for the M.Tech, M.Arch, MCA, Lateral Entry-MCA, M.Pharm and M.Plan tests on Saturday, while the remaining 9,355 candidates will appear for admission tests for MBA courses on Sunday.
The tests for M.Tech, M.Arch, MCA, Lateral Entry-MCA, M.Pharm and M.Plan will be conducted in three sittings, i.e., from 9 am to 11 am, 1 pm to 3 pm and 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm.
The tests for the MBA courses will be held in two sittings, from 10 am to 12 noon and 3 pm to 5 pm, on Sunday.
