Mumbai: After Ramayan, Doordarshan has decided to relaunch three more popular yesteryear shows — Mahabharat, Rajit Kapur-starrer Byomkesh Bakshi and Bollywood superstar’s Shah Rukh Khan’s tele-series Circus.
These shows are expected to help people tide over their time during the 21-days lockdown imposed to contain the spread of coronavirus in the country.
Circus, directed by Aziz Mirza and Kundan Shah, marked Shahrukh’s second outing on the small screen before he became a superstar in Bollywood. Renuka Shahane and Ashutosh Gowarikar also featured in the show.
