Sundargarh: An elderly man was trampled to death by an elephant at Jhuparangapatrapalli village under Gopalpur forest range of Sundargrah on Saturday.
Sources said the elephant attacked Murali Sa of Chuparangapatrapalli village when he was collecting Mahula in the forest. Murali died on the spot. On being informed, forest department officials reached the spot and began investigations into the matter.
