Bhubaneswar: Ollywood actor Sabyasachi Mishra once again won the hearts of the people of Odisha. This time for sending coconuts, offerings from devotees, to Maa Tarini Temple at Ghatagaon in Odisha’s Keonjhar district.
The actor collected more than 35,000 coconuts on Kartika Purnima day and sent those to Maa Tarini Temple in two trucks.
The coconuts were collected from Baramunda bus stand, Fire Station, CRP Square, Acharya Vihar, Vani Vihar, Rasulgarh in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Chandikhol and Panikoili etc.
Through this noble deed, Sabyasachi has again won the hearts of Odisha people and also sent across a message of a clean and green environment.
Notably, due to Corona pandemic, these coconuts could not be sent to Maa Tarini temple and were lying at collection points along the road and in bus stands.

Fearing contracting coronavirus, the bus drivers were not lifting the coconuts ever since the virus started six months back.
Sabyasachi through his social media account said, “Coconuts were lying abandoned like mountains at street corners and bus stops. It not only compromises devotees’ emotions but also hampers the beauty and aesthetics of a city. A few of them have rotten. They were also making the environment unhygienic. I feel blessed that finally after eight months, all the coconuts, offerings of devotees, piled up in the twin cities have been moved to Ghatagaon by trucks. By doing this, my Kartika Purnima was spent well.”
The reel hero turned into a real life hero by helping people in various ways during the lockdown.
