Bhubaneswar: Producer Devasis Patra’s actress wife Monalisa Kanungo is making her comeback in her husband’s fourth venture ‘Ardhangini’.
A family drama, Ardhangini will see Devasis and Monalisa in lead roles. Actress Lipsa Mishra will add the third angle to the storyline of the movie. “I am happy that my wife Monalisa has come back to Ollywood after a long time and we are working together in this movie as lead characters,” said Devasis.
To be released on Zee Sarthak, other star casts of the film are Pradumnya Lenka, Suresh Bal, Amrita Shukla, Akash and child actor Ayush.
Bobby Islam is the director and choreographer of the movie. Dr Rajaniranjan Das has written the screenplay and dialogues of the movie.
Goodly Rath has composed the music while Ira Mohanty, Humane Sagar and Lipsa Mohapatra have rendered their voice.
“The shooting of the movie is still going with most parts being shot in Bhubaneswar. We are planning to release the movie in December,” said Devasis.
Earlier, Devasis has produced ‘Kulangara’, ‘Kalia Karuchi Lila’, and ‘Angur Namilile Khata’.
