Cuttack: The Millenium City reported 43 new COVID-19 cases and one death in the last 24 hours. Another 51 patients also recovered from the infection during this period.
According to Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC), six of the new infections are institutional quarantine, seven home quarantine and 30 local contact cases.
The new infections have pushed the affected tally in the city to 15,299 on Monday.
A 75-year-old man from Cuttack city has succumbed to the virus, the civic body further tweeted.
With 75 deaths and 14,445, Cuttack now has 779 active cases.
